It wasn't difficult but it requires a lot of patience especially if you have custom content. I managed to get my game down from 3+ hour loading time to 5 minutes. With the interwebs and some useful tools i managed to make it very playable! I had a really hard time at first with this game, it crashed, it lagged, and it took HOURS to load up. I'm glad that my TS2 edition of this thread helped people so I decided to do a TS3 edition with the things I've learned since playing Sims 3.
